amazing alternative to candy bars: dark chocolate crispy almond bars from The Food Babe⁣, it was so easy to make!

▫️get 12 oz of clean chocolate chips (like from Enjoy Life Foods , get 1 cup of water and put in medium pan, boil it

▫️get another heat safe bowl to put on top of the water, melt the chocolate chips.

▫️remove from heat, add in 1 cup of crispy rice cereal (i used One Degree Organics for cleaner ingredients)

▫️then mix in 1/2 cup of crushed up almonds and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

▫️put in an 8x8 pan on parchment paper, refrigerate for an hour, then chop up into bars. SO GOOD!!

it's so important to buy cleaner versions of ingredients like the ones i listed above. i put a side by side of one of The Food Babe examples of cereal. it's sad that we live in a world where chemicals are in our food, so it's important we become detectives to what we're eating and pick the healthier options. pay attention to labels. follow the food babe for more of these examples, its eyeopening !
